Handcrafted from rich American cherry, this edge grain cutting board develops a deeper, more beautiful patina with every use. Cherry is one of the most prized cabinet and furniture woods in North America for good reason — it's one of the few species that actually improves in appearance over time. Fresh from the shop, it starts as a warm light honey tone. As it ages and is exposed to light, it gradually deepens into a rich, luminous reddish-amber that no stain or finish can replicate. Your board will look better at five years than it does on day one.

What sets this board apart is the heavy chamfer running all the way around the bottom edge. Most boards force you to awkwardly grip the sides or fumble with a single handle. Here, the full-perimeter chamfer creates a natural, comfortable grip from any side — pick it up, rotate it, pass it across the kitchen. It's intuitive in a way you'll notice every single day. The chamfer also gives the board a distinctly modern profile, lifting it above the ordinary cutting boards that crowd every kitchen store shelf.
