This maple end grain board was built as a proof of concept — a demonstration of what's possible when our custom inlay process meets a bold, iconic design. The engraved CU buffalo motif was created for internal portfolio purposes only. Boulder Board & Block Co. is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by the University of Colorado, and this board is not available for purchase.

What is available is the capability behind it.

Our custom inlay and laser engraving process can reproduce virtually any logo, crest, monogram, or original artwork onto a handcrafted end grain board — provided you hold the rights or license to reproduce it. Whether you're a business, a sports organization, a brewery, a wedding couple, or anyone with a design they own, we can put it on a board built to last a lifetime.

The board itself is a 12×18 ×1½" end grain maple butcher block — our most durable construction, with the end grain face absorbing knife strikes rather than showing them. Finished with food-safe OSMO Butcher Block Oil and built in Boulder, Colorado.
