Fire Meets Earth
Some boards blend into the kitchen. This one commands it.
Padauk is one of the most visually striking hardwoods in the world — a vivid, fiery red-orange that deepens and warms with every coat of oil and every year of use. Paired with the deep, chocolatey grain of American black walnut, the contrast is immediate and striking. This isn’t a board you put away. This is a board you leave out.
Each piece of padauk and walnut is hand-selected and arranged in alternating horizontal stripes, creating a bold, graphic pattern that’s completely natural — no dyes, no stains, just two exceptional hardwoods doing what they do best. The chamfered edges on both the top and bottom give it a refined, furniture-quality finish that elevates it beyond anything you’d find at a kitchen store.
At ¾" thick, it’s light enough to handle with one hand and versatile enough for daily fruit and cheese prep, casual entertaining, or simply living on your counter as a piece you’re proud to own.
