Small Maple & Walnut Butcher Block Table

A Hardworking Prep Table with the Character of Fine Furniture

Make room for a dedicated prep station without giving up the warmth of a thoughtfully furnished home. Our small butcher block table pairs an 18" × 30" end grain hard maple top with a rich walnut base, bringing heirloom quality to apartments, compact kitchens and smaller spaces.

Decorative recessed geometric detailing runs down the walnut legs, with elongated panels and angular accents that give the base a distinctive furniture-like character. The contrast between light maple and dark walnut makes this more than a place to chop: it is a piece that belongs in your home, even when the cooking is done.

Each walnut leg measures 2.75" × 2.75", giving the base a substantial, workhorse feel without the visual bulk of an oversized kitchen island. Paired with the thick maple top, these proportions strike a thoughtful balance: ready for everyday kitchen work, yet comfortably at home in a smaller space.

Prep, Serve and Store

Use the substantial 3-inch-thick top for everyday food preparation, then let the table become an extra serving surface when friends stop by. At 34 inches tall, it offers a compact place to work, arrange dishes or keep kitchen essentials within reach.

A convenient 3" by 15" drawer provides a home for smaller tools, while the slatted maple shelf below keeps bowls, cookware or serving pieces close at hand. Practical kitchen storage and the presence of a standalone furniture piece come together in one compact design.

Finished with Care, Built to Keep

Three coats of OSMO butcher block oil complete the table. It also carries our refinishing guarantee: your first two resurfacings and reconditionings are complimentary, with shipping paid by the customer. We want your butcher block to remain a hardworking part of your kitchen for years to come.
