Walnut Striped Edge Grain Cutting Board

Intentional by Design

Every stripe is selected, not left to chance. This board pairs rich, dark walnut heartwood with lighter walnut sapwood, deliberately alternating and arranging the pieces to create its distinctive stripe pattern. Both colors come from American black walnut, not different wood species.

The pattern takes thoughtful lumber selection and hands-on composition. This isn't a mass-produced glue-up of whatever strips happen to be available. Each board is individually arranged, with natural differences in tone and grain making every finished piece unique.

Edge grain construction makes it an everyday prep board with a striking presence on the counter. Rounded corners and a smooth hand-sanded finish complete the design.

• Small: 10" x 14" x 1.25", plain-only
• Medium: 12" x 16" x 1.5"
• Large: 14" x 20" x 2"
• XL: 18" x 24" x 2.25"

Make It Your Own

Medium, Large and XL boards offer an optional juice groove (+$25), routed side handles (+$25), feet (+$50), or side handles and feet together (+$75). A juice groove can be combined with any handles-and-feet choice. Small boards have no groove, handles or feet.
